How is everyone doing? This is my first beauty and fashion blog post. So excited!! =D Ok, this one is dedicated to hair and makeup only! ^_^
Face:
Contouring:
Eyes:I like to top my upper eyelid with glitter eyeliner (I really love NYX Candy Glitter Eyeliner). They are inexpensive, last long and easy to apply. You have bling bling eyes in seconds! Just remember to gently tap it after you put your eyeshadow on, so it won't disappear. =D
Then I put false eyelashes on. Very easy, just put eyelash glue on it (I like DUO Eyelash glue in dark or the Kiss 16-hour waterproof one is good too). I like the darker glue ones better, because it blends in with your eyeliner and mascara. Lastly, top it of with 2 coats of your favorite mascara. (I love Covergirl's Bombshell Volume Mascara, because it has 2 different brushes, one to lengthen and one to volumize!)
Lips:
Finish:Top it with spritzes of Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. It really does work! I apply my make-up in the morning and it stays the same until the night. I love love love this product. Urban Decay, you are a genius!! =D
Hair:Here are the products that I use:
First, I prep my skin with Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer and Garnier BB Cream. Then I put my foundation (Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24-hour Liquid Foundation)
My absolute favorite part of make-up! It can give you a totally different face. Make you look slimmer in minutes. Who needs facelift? =) I use Sleek Makeup Palette in Medium Shade and Physician's Formula Bronzer (Comes with a built-in mirror and a brush).
My favorite look is a smokey eye. Very classy, easy to do, makes your eyes sparkle and you can NEVER go wrong with a fabulous smokey eye! I got my eyeshadow palette from eBay. First, I put gold all over my eyelid. After that I put black on the outer corner and blend, blend, blend! Don't forget to apply white in the inner corner of your eyes and also on the bottom of your eye (makes your eyes 10x bigger and more awake), then I usually top it with a dark brown eyeliner from the outer eye up to the middle of my eyeball.
For lips, I love hot pink! It's easy to match, looks good for both day and night and it's my favorite color (totally irrelevant, LOL!) I really love MAC Pro Longwear Lipglass in Full Speed Ahead and top it with Buxom Lipgloss in Katie. I really love the MAC Lipglass, because it's easy to apply and last long and I adore the Buxom Lipgloss because it makes your lips shine (bright like a diamond=) and also it has a refreshing mint feeling added into it (who needs chewing gum right? It is not ladylike! =p )
Hair, hair, hair! I can't live without curls + volume! That's just me! My signature look! It's easy to do and instantly glamorize your look! Don't forget heat protectant spray (Pantene Heat Protection Spray is my favorite), Root Booster Spray (Catwal-Bad Head Root Boost is my go-to!) and Hairspray before AND after (that's the secret to make it last long-I use Big Sexy Hair Spray and Stay). Then, curl it with a curling iron away from your face and tease your roots after curling it. I usually clip the top part for couple hours to hold the volume, that's why I typically curl my hair the night after (also, because I don't have time in the morning and I am not a morning person, so if I do it in the morning, it probably will look like ?!@#^&, LOL!)
